The White Rabbit in Easterland Raceday

The White Rabbit in Easterland Raceday

First Race Time: 2.15pm

We certainly have a treat lined up to welcome everyone back to our first raceday of 2017. Join us for a magical Alice in Wonderland themed Easter Egg hunt, featuring live theatre and free chocolate eggs for all the kids, as well as a lovely afternoon's racing.

Families will love the hunt to find the naughty White Rabbit, who after a family feud, has taken the Easter Bunny's basket of eggs. You'll need to enlist the help of the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat, and other characters along the way who will point you in the right direction with songs, dances and riddles. (Please note, you will need a Grandstand & Paddock or a Premier ticket to take part in the Easter Egg hunt.)

At the end of the hunt there'll be a free chocolate egg for the kids and a decorating workshop with White Rabbit Chocolate Shop on the beautiful Lavender Lawn. There's plenty of extra eggs available to buy for the grown ups to have a go too!  There'll also be a fun afternoon of racing  - the perfect chance to see everyone again after a long winter off.

The Easter Egg hunts will run from 12-2 before racing starts, followed by an afternoon of all things chocolatey on the Lavender Lawn. You'll need to pre-book your racing tickets here and then follow the signs on arrival. The last race will provisionally be at 5.45pm.

It's said Lewis Carroll was inspired to create the character of the White Rabbit after seeing the carving in St Mary's Church, and we're delighted to bring the magic of Alice in Wonderland back to Beverley today with the help of East Riding Theatre's She Productions and the White Rabbit Chocolate Shop.
