You’ll have the chance to meet Hull FC first-team stars at our afternoon of racing on Wednesday, May 31.
We’ve teamed up with the Challenge Cup winners during the spring half-term break with a host of activities and competitions to keep your whole family entertained, including inflatable sumo suits, giant Zorb balls, and funfair rides!
Fans of both horseracing and rugby can also take a selfie with the Challenge Cup and try for a prize in Hull FC’s popular “Boot It” kicking competition!
Sally Iggulden, our Chief Executive, said: “Our afternoon race meeting on Wednesday, May 31, will be a really great family friendly day where racegoers can meet the Hull FC squad and take selfies with the Challenge Cup as well as lots of other fun activities we’ve got lined up.”
We’ll also be offering discounted tickets to enjoy top-class rugby as Hull FC take on the Wigan Warriors at the KCOM stadium on Saturday, June 3, including the half-time mascot match – a big family-favourite. Younger fans can also take a ride on ponies dressed up as race horses in Hull’s West Park before the big game as part of the club’s annual family fan zone, with rides, activities and games.
And don’t forget you can also sample celebrity chef Colin McGurran’s signature dish and enjoy some of the best views of the course in The Attraction restaurant.
Other highlights of the season include:
- A Very British Raceday on Saturday, June 10. Racegoers can step back in time and reminisce on days gone by with this nostalgic day celebrating all things British. Wear red, white and blue!
- 70s Race Night on Tuesday, June 20 – bringing back the legend that was Bus Stop - Lexington Avenue’s iconic 70s club night. Fancy dress encouraged!
- Flemingate Ladies’ Day on Wednesday, August 16 – the ultra-glamorous social event of the summer, presented in partnership with Beverley’s Flemingate shopping centre.
Tickets for all race meetings can be booked online at www.beverley-racecourse.co.uk or by calling the ticket hotline on 01482 867488.
