Music festival moves to the Racecourse

Fancy seeing The Proclaimers this summer!?

This June we’ve got the region’s most innovative and eclectic festival moving to the racecourse for its 30th anniversary on the 21st to 23rd June - ‘one of the best small festivals in the country’ according to The Sunday Times.

For 29 years, Beverley Folk Festival has helped to put Beverley on the music map. With past acts ranging from Billy Bragg to Joe Brown, the event has become a hit with both local residents and festival-goers from further afield and grown to be one of the most popular and award-winning of its kind. To ensure the future sustainability of the Festival and its growing needs to develop, the Folk Festival has relocated to Beverley Racecourse, with its excellent facilities, surrounding natural beauty, and proximity to the town centre.

Tickets are already selling fast, with a headline act of one of the best-known and most popular folk acts of all time. You can read more about the other top acts heading to Beverley and book tickets here.
