Richard Guest Stable Visit

Former Grand National winning Jockey & Trainer, Richard Guest, will be hosting a visit to his yard at Ingmanthorpe near Wetherby on Tuesday 21st July as part of the Go Racing in Yorkshire Summer Festival.

Visitors will be able to see horses on the gallops, meet Richard’s winning Grand National horse Red Marauder, watch various demonstrations and enjoy a Q&A session.  

After visiting the yard, visitors will return to Wetherby Racecourse for an evening of flat racing.  Wetherby will feature as part of the Go Racing in Yorkshire Summer Festival for the first time this year as it stages the last of its 4 flat fixtures in 2015.

Tickets are £25 per person and include;

• Paddock Enclosure Admission
• Racecard Voucher
• Final Furlong Prime Burger or Home straight Hot Dog Served with relishes and salad selection*
• Chilled bottle of Beer or Glass of Pimms
*please advise at time of booking if you require a vegetarian option.

Children under 18 are admitted free to the stables visit and to racing at Wetherby, when accompanied by an adult.  There is no food and drink package available to under 18s attending this event but a range of food and age suitable beverages can be purchased at the racecourse.

3 pm – 4.45 pm                            Visit to Richard Guest’s at Ingmanthorpe, Wetherby
5 pm                                             Return to Wetherby Racecourse for light BBQ supper.
6.15 pm                                        First Race
