Welcome to the 2013 season at Beverley Racecourse

The staff have all been very busy over the winter months, with several projects that should benefit all visitors to the Racecourse.

The largest project has seen the installation of a sprinkler system on the entire track – how ironic given the summer of 2012! We will now be able to use water more efficiently, and create a more even watered racing surface for our equine superstars. Additionally, we are now powered by Solar Panels! The grandstand roof was the perfect place for panels, and we are big supporters of green energy. Around and about the place, you will see some landscaping work, all with the aim of providing beautiful surroundings for you to enjoy your day with us.

Make a special visit to the new Minster Bar terraced area, where you will be able to see our new racehorse Woody – a driftwood horse sculpture, quietly grazing at the edge of our new lavender lawn!

Beverley Racecourse is a not-for-profit organisation. Any profit made is returned into the business for the benefit of all users of the racecourse.
