When you decide to come racing with us, you can choose from three different enclosures.

The Premier Enclosure

First rate facilities, excellent dining, relaxing bars and the best vantage point to watch the racing - this is the most luxurious way to spend your day at the races.

The Premier Enclosure gives you exclusive access to the smartest Terrace & 1690 Bars, featuring the Laurent-Perrier Champagne Bar. In the beautifully appointed Attraction Restaurant an a la carte menu is available and tables can be booked by calling Sara on 0113 287 6387.

Above, Whistlejackets Bar boasts a Craft Ale Bar; an original oak bar with cask ale on tap. It has a first class club lounge feel, with smart leather sofas and the smartest lavatory facilities on course.

The dress code for the Premier Enclosure is smart/casual. We require gentlemen to wear a collared shirt - ties and jackets are optional. Shorts and sportswear aren’t allowed. Jeans and trainers are acceptable as long as they’re clean and tidy. Make the most of the opportunity to dress up!

Due to their popularity, we’d strongly recommend pre-booking Premier Enclosure badges for themed and weekend meetings. With a Premier Enclosure badge, you’ll have access to all the public areas of the racecourse.

Racegoers are not permitted to bring their own food, drink or seating into this enclosure.

Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure

If you’re after a busy, lively atmosphere, then the Grandstand & Paddock is ideal. It’s our largest enclosure and features a great range of bars and eateries, as well as on-course bookmakers and access to the paddock.

Facilities include the Paddock Bar with its deli buffet and beautiful views, the vibrant Rapid Lad Bar with its traditional betting hall, the Touch Above Bar, featuring the burger bar and fish and chip shop, and the Lavender Lawn and Minster Bar at the Beverley end of the racecourse for those who want to enjoy a chilled afternoon's racing.

Well worth a visit is Cleverly's Bar & Bistro, situated on the second floor of the main Grandstand and connecting via staircase to the Rapid Lad Bar. Boasting a New York Loft feel with lots of reclaimed timber and interesting features, you can enjoy amazing views over the Westwood and the racecourse. Tasty bistro-style locally sourced food is served to your table with no need for reservations.

Racegoers are not permitted to bring their own food, drink or seating into this enclosure.

Course Enclosure

Set in the centre of the racecourse, the Course Enclosure puts you right into the heart of the racing action. You can drive your car close up to the track and enjoy a family picnic* while you watch the races, and enjoy a drink and a bite to eat at The Hurn Bar. Bring a rug and the family and enjoy an afternoon at the races together!

Picnics and Alcohol – we currently allow our customers to bring their own picnics and alcohol into this enclosure. However, there are strict limits on the amount of alcohol, and it must be accompanied by a substantial picnic. Permitted levels are 4 cans of lager (or equivalent) or one bottle of wine per person. You can bring seating into this enclosure.

Transfering up an enclosure is available on most days; just ask a member of staff for help.
