Beverley Racecourse is delighted to announce they have been named as a Finalist three times over for the prestigious Showcase & Awards, hosted by the Racecourse Association (RCA).
The Showcase & Awards is the marquee event of British racecourses that celebrate excellence and innovation in partnership with Moët Hennessy, Racing Post and Great British Racing.
Beverley has been listed as a Finalist in the Food & Beverage, Diversity & Inclusion, and the Racing Together category. From the five Finalists the winner will be revealed at the Showcase & Awards ceremony on Thursday 14th November at Hamilton Park Racecourse.
The Food & Beverage Award identifies excellence and innovation in racecourse food and drink quality and service. Successful Finalists had to reflect both the fare itself and its journey from conception to plate, as well as the level of service underpinning the operation.
The Diversity & Inclusion Award celebrates initiatives which open the sport to all and promote racecourses as accessible, welcoming venues and those that are taking effective steps to ensure inclusivity for racegoers, members of staff and/or the wider community.
The Racing Together Community Award recognises initiatives relating to the local community, environment or charitable causes. Entries were asked to demonstrate how a community engagement programme has and continues to improve relationships with the local community through working with key stakeholders.
Paul Swain, RCA Brand & Experience Manager, added, “I am thrilled for Beverley Racecourse for their success once again in being named a Finalist at the 2019 Showcase & Awards.
“Competition for these awards continues to grow each year and it was only fitting for our tenth ceremony that we can celebrate a record number of submissions.
Our Finalists represent the best of British Racecourses and should all be immensely proud of the work they’ve done to enhance the customer experience and their racecourse overall. All eyes now turn to Thursday 14th November at Hamilton Park where we will find out the winners.”
