Excitement is building here at Beverley Racecourse as the 2024 racing season is finally underway! We’ve been preparing for months for what promises to be a fantastic season of racing on the Westwood.

With competitive racing to enjoy at one of Yorkshire’s premier courses, a day at Beverley Races is never to be forgotten. With a host of special events, family days, and top-class entertainment to enjoy, there’s more to Beverley Racecourse in 2024 than just racing.

The 2024 racing season has officially started! Whether you’re a serious punter, love the excitement of competitive racing, or want to enjoy the unique atmosphere of a day at the races, then a trip to Beverley Racecourse is a must. With our unique location and long racing tradition, Beverley Racecourse provides a fantastic racing experience for people of all ages.

 

Don’t Miss Our Fun Family Days

The 29th May, and 30th July see the return of our highly popular Family Fundays. These are great occasions for all the family, combining a full race card with family activities to keep even the most demanding family members happy! With fun fair rides and stalls, face painting, and a host of friendly farm animals to meet, it’s a great chance to enjoy a family day out at the races. Also, be sure to look out for our Circus Family Funday on the 25th of August!

With affordable ticket prices starting at just £7 for adults with under 18s going free, a family day out to Beverley Races won’t break the bank. 

 

Relive the Glories of Britpop at the Bet 365 Very British Raceday

Our first day of Saturday racing sees the return of our ever-popular Bet 365 Very British Raceday. With an action-packed 7 race card, featuring two key Ascot Trials, It’s always a memorable event.

To round off proceedings, in the evening we’re joined by a double act of Britpop tribute acts live on the Premier Terrace after racing. It’s a chance to relive the 90s, as Pulp’D and Blur 2 perform iconic Britpop hits from the era, including “Common People”, “Parklife” and “Girls & Boys.”

With a choice of Course, Grandstand & Paddock, and Premier Enclosures, and with concessions available in the G&P enclosure, there’s something for everyone.

Dance the Night Away at Our 70’s Disco

If the 70s are more your thing, then be sure to come along to our 70s Disco Race night on Friday 5th July. Featuring the silky disco sounds of the legendary Bus Stop 70 Disco Show, there’s the chance to enjoy a 6 race card, plenty of great food and drink, and an evening of throwing shapes and busting moves! Pull on your flares and head for the glitter ball!

 

Revel in the Glamour at Ladies Day

Style and racing combine at the annual Ladies Day at Beverley Racecourse, held on the 14th of August. It’s the perfect excuse to get dolled up, grab your friends, and come along for a dressed-up day in the sunshine. Widely regarded as one of the best Ladies Days in the UK racing calendar, there’s also a chance to win the title of ‘Most Stylish Racegoer’.

To make the event extra special, why not treat yourself to a table in our Premier Attraction Restaurant? 

The all-inclusive price includes a Premier Enclosure badge, a three-course meal, and a race card. It also gives you exclusive access to the Attraction Restaurant balcony with its stunning views across the course. Tickets always sell out quickly, so don’t delay!

How to Find Us

We have a varied and exciting 2024 racing calendar ahead of us and getting here couldn’t be easier. East Yorkshire Buses will be running a convenient shuttle service on race days between Beverley Bus Station and Beverley Racecourse, with regular direct bus services running to the station from Hull, York, and Leeds. There’s a bus stop right outside the racecourse.

If you’re travelling by train, there is a regular service from Hull to Beverley running every 25 minutes. Parking for people travelling by car can be found at the Westwood opposite the course.
