Celebrating Summer at Beverley Racecourse in July 2024

This July at Beverley Racecourse, we have a jam-packed calendar full of fixtures that give you the opportunity to really make the most of your time this summer.

If you’re looking for the chance to wear your best Hawaiian shirt, bust out some disco dance moves, have an activity-filled family fun day, or just spend an afternoon enjoying some racing along with food and drinks, we have some not to be missed events just for you.

With all that being said, why not take a look at our fantastic fixtures happening at Beverley Racecourse throughout July…

Dust off your Disco Dance moves

We are excited to announce the return of the ever-popular 70s Disco Racenight to Beverley Racecourse on 5th July, with the Bus Stop Disco show: Tony Loveshaft and his friends will be joining us for groovy tunes and some shape busting moves!

Not only can you enjoy a long summer evening of racing starting at 18:00, but there is also only a short wait after the last race before the Bus Stop 70s Disco show commences.

If you’re looking for an evening of racing, food, drinks, and classic 70s tunes, then our 70s Disco Racenight is not to be missed.

Fancy dress is highly encouraged, so remember to don some flares and sequins to get ready for a chance to show off your very best disco moves!

Show off your Carnival Colours

Dig out your most colourful Hawaiian shirt and prepare for a carnival atmosphere on 6th July here at Beverley Racecourse.

This ever popular fixture is always a great way to kick-start your summer with a day of racing, laid-back tropical vibes, and maybe even a winner or two!

You can even grab a fruity cocktail at one of the many bars throughout our enclosures.

A Summer Afternoon at the Races

Join us at Beverley Racecourse for a sunny (fingers crossed) afternoon at the races on 16th July, featuring a packed 6 racecard and an array of fantastic food and drink options for you to choose from.

With gates opening at 12:30, you have plenty of time to grab yourself a cold drink, place your bets, and get settled in for a scorching summer afternoon of racing.

Our racing afternoons are some of our most popular fixtures of the summer, so make sure to book in advance to not only secure your place, but also save up to 20% on gate price!

Celebrate all things Yorkshire

Explore and celebrate all things the county has to offer at the Sky Bet Go Racing in Yorkshire Summer Festival on the 22nd July, which showcases 8 of the 9 incredible Yorkshire racecourses during a week-long event.

Join Beverley Racecourse in championing Yorkshire racing with a 6 racecard fixture, whilst also grabbing yourself some of the incredible food and drink options available all evening.

Before the racing begins make sure to check out the famous Paddock & Chips penalty shoot-out competition taking place throughout the week, and watch jockeys test out their footballing skills.

Paddington comes to Beverley Racecourse

Entertain the full family this summer with one of our amazing Family Fun Day taking place on 30th July. If you’re looking for the chance to combine a day at the races, with a schedule of family entertainment, then a trip to Beverley Racecourse is a perfect day out for people of all ages. 

Remember the Course Enclosure gates open at 11:30, so make sure to arrive early to take advantage of the rides, stalls, and face painting on offer!

With the release of the new movie Paddington 3 – Paddington in Peru right around the corner, Paddington himself will be joining us at Beverley Racecourse. He will be adventuring across the Course Enclosure at intervals to meet, greet, and grab some photos with, so don’t forget the marmalade sandwiches in your family picnic!

With a unique offering of activities throughout the day, we know this Summer Race Day is not one to miss. This is why we not only offer concession tickets for the Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure, but also why under 18s are free of charge if accompanied by a paying adult.
