Where Are My E-tickets?

You will be emailed your e-tickets as soon as your purchase is complete. Please check your spam folder straight away as the email does have a habit of hiding in there. Either move your email to a safe place or print your tickets immediately – if left in a spam folder, they will most likely get automatically deleted.

When Do Tickets Go On Sale?

Admission tickets for all of our 2025 fixtures are now on sale . It’s always easiest and quickest to book via our website!

Alternatively feel free to call the racecourse office on 01482 867488.

How do I get my tickets onto my phone?

Upon purchasing the ticket, you will receive an email with a link attached. This will allow you to download the Future Ticketing App and create a new account, please use the same email as the one you purchased the ticket with.

Once you have done this, you can log in and access all of your tickets. When you arrive at the racecourse, simply open the page and present the QR code to the member of staff.

How do I share tickets?

The best way to share tickets digitally is through the Future Ticketing App. The purchaser of the tickets can enter the recipients email address, who will then receive a link to create an account of their own. Once their account has been created, the ticket will automatically transfer to their account and they will be notified.

How do I get a window table in the Attraction Restaurant?

The window table upgrade worked well in 2024 and will be continued across all 2025 fixtures

At the time of booking, please request to upgrade to a Window Table. The cost of this is £10 per person.

Please be aware availability may be limited the sooner you request this the better.

Do tickets need to be in an individual's name?

No – the ticket does not need to bare the name of the person wishing to use it. So if you book 20 tickets, they can all be in the name of the person who made the booking – no need to change to each name (currently!).

Do children need a ticket to come racing?

Accompanied under 18s are admitted free of charge and do not need a ticket, except for the Premier Enclosure on Ladies Day.

Do I need to print off my ticket?

No, tickets can be scanned straight from your phone.

Please ensure all tickets are ready to be scanned before arriving at the gates to minimise queuing.

Can I buy tickets on the Gate?

Subject to availability, tickets for some race meetings will be available to buy on the gate but we strongly advise you to book via our website. You can do this right up until the first race, and will be sent e-tickets straight away. It’s cheaper to book on our website too!

Is there a limit on how many I can buy?

There is a limit of 50 tickets per individual bookings on all fixtures, except Ladies Day.

On Ladies Day there is a limit of 20 tickets per individual booking.

We don’t currently offer any discount on group bookings.

Can I buy food and drink during my visit?

There are plenty of outlets and lovely outdoor space to enjoy a drink.
There’s lots of information here about where to eat and drink.

Can I still use cash on course?

We are encouraging card payments at the bars to speed up service and lessen contact, and are in the process of having a snazzy new system installed to allow super fast card payment. You will still be able to use cash at designated bars/food outlets and on-course bookmakers and the Tote will accept cash.

When is Ladies Day in 2025?

We are delighted to announce the 2025 Ladies Day is scheduled to be on Wednesday, 13th August

What's your policy on antisocial behaviour?

You can visit Beverley with confidence knowing that we have a zero tolerance policy on antisocial behaviour; the police are present at busier racedays and anyone found to be drunk and disorderly will be immediately evicted with no refund. Anyone buying drinks for someone who our bar staff have refused to serve will also be evicted.

What is your accessibility provision?

We are committed to making the racecourse an accessible and enjoyable day out for everyone, and have a five year programme working to include everyone with specific accessibility issues.

Visit our accessibility page here for information; if we haven’t answered a question please call on 01482 867488 or email us.

What should I wear?

As horse racing is an outdoor sport, it’s always a good idea to check the weather forecast beforehand and dress accordingly.

We now implement a suggested dress code. Whilst we suggest you make the most of the opportunity to dress up in the Premier Enclosure (it is the races after all), tailored shorts and t-shirts are permitted; we just suggest your overall appearance is smart.

Sportswear and fancy dress are still restricted to the Grandstand & Paddock or Picnic Enclosures, other than on theme days.

How can I get to Beverley?

Beverley Racecourse is on York Road in Beverley Westwood, which is around one mile from the town centre, 10 miles from Hull and 13 miles from the M62 motorway. Use the postcode, HU17 8QZ, if you’re using a Sat Nav. See the Plan Your Day page for specific details on how to get here.

Beverley’s train station is about a mile from the racecourse and there are regular buses direct to Beverley from Hull, York and Leeds. There’s a bus stop outside the Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure where you can get dropped off and catch the next service.

Is cashback available?

Cashback is available at any of the tote betting windows.

What’s the difference in enclosures?

We have three to choose from, the relaxed Picnic Enclosure, the large and vibrant Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure and the glamorous Premier Enclosure. Take a look at our Enclosures page to find out detailed information on each one.

Is it suitable for families?

Definitely! We welcome children to all race meetings and we have several theme days specifically aimed at families. Visit our What’s On page to check them out. Accompanied under 18s are free at all meetings too, so bring them along for a memorable day out.

What’s the refund policy?

Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds on pre-booked tickets.

If racing sadly has to be cancelled or abandoned, we offer a full refund on abandonment before the end of the first race.

If the race meeting is abandoned after the first race has been run, no refunds will be made in respect of admission charges or will any abandonment tickets be issued.

Please see the abandonment policy in full here

Where do I park?

All parking on The Westwood is free and available to anyone in any enclosure, including private coaches. You can also bring your car into the Picnic Enclosure from £7. More information is available here under Getting Here & Parking.

What time should I arrive?

The gates, bars and restaurants usually open two hours before the first race, but details can be found on each raceday’s individual page.

Horses usually enter the Parade Ring about 15-20 minutes before the first race and can be seen before in the Pre-Parade Ring being saddled up, so get here in plenty of time to take in all the sights!

Where do I enter the racecourse?

If you’re on foot, entrances to all enclosures are along York Road. The entrance to the Picnic Enclosure is nearest to the town, followed by the Grandstand & Paddock and the Premier Enclosure.

If you want to take your car into the Picnic Enclosure, the entrance is near the cattle grid at the top of The Westwood and is clearly signed. You can arrive and leave whenever you like, providing a race isn’t in progress.

The Owners and Trainers car park is also near the cattle grid at the top of the Westwood and the entrance is through the white building signed ‘Owners and Trainers Suite’.

Can I visit the Parade Ring?

Of course you can! Anyone in the Premier Enclosure and Grandstand & Paddock can visit the Pre-Parade Ring and the Parade Ring to see the horses up close and have a read of the information boards telling you what to look out for. Remember, though, that horses can be unpredictable, so please keep your wits about you and pay close attention to any children with you.

What's your policy on drinking?

We actively support the RCA and Drink Aware’s Pace Yourself campaign – encouraging responsible drinking on a raceday to make sure you last the distance. Find out more about Drink Aware here but the message is simple – allow one soft drink to every alcoholic one. Anyone disregarding this advice that becomes drunk and disorderly will be immediately evicted with no refunds – we want a raceday at Beverley to be a place for everyone to enjoy.

Where can I bet?

You can place bets with the Tote or on-course bookmakers, who can be found in all of our enclosures. There’s plenty of choice when betting, from straightforward win or each way bets to forecasts, placepots, quadpots and trifectas. Don’t know what we’re on about? No problem, just visit a tote counter or bookie when you arrive and they’ll be happy to help! Visit www.totesport.com for more details.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes. A perfect gift for family or friends or alternatively if you can’t decide which fixture you would like to attend

Gift Vouchers are available to purchase here

Is there live music after racing?

In 2025, we have multiple racedays throughout the season with live music after the racing.

Head to our Fixtures Page to view these and to see what’s on offer.

Can I take photographs?

Yes, as long as they’re not for commercial use. Please don’t use flash as this can scare the horses. If you’re a professional photographer, you need to obtain a press pass by discretion of the racecourse manager Sally Iggulden – call 01482 867488 for more information.

Can I bring food & drink?

Yes, but only into the Picnic Enclosure.

Alcohol is permitted, but only as part of a substantial picnic – we allow 4 cans of lager (or equivalent) or one bottle of wine per person as a guideline. We do not permit bottles of any neat spirits to be brought in. We do allow pre-mixed spirit drink cans  (Pimms, Gin & Tonic etc) as part of a picnic and no more than 4 per person. If located during a random bag search, excess alcohol will be confiscated and unfortunately cannot be returned after the event.

Where can I buy a raceday programme?

Digital raceday programmes will be sent to pre-bookers via a download link the day before each raceday. They tell you what horses are running on the day, who’s riding them, what colours they’ll be in and their recent form. They also have tips on how to make the most of your day, like how to bet, where to eat and drink, information on the racecourse and the welfare of the horses.

Racecards will be available to purchase for £3 from entry points of the racecourse. If you are looking for a large print racecard please contact the racecourse in advance of your visit and we will be happy to order one in advance.

Racing Post and Timeform racecards are available outside the Premier main entrance

Can I bring my dog?

No sorry – dogs are not allowed on the racecourse.

Is there baby changing?

Yes – see below depending on your enclosure.

Premier Enclosure : Disabled Toilet in Premier

G&P: Disabled Toilet in the Touch Above Bar

Picnic Enclosure: Disabled Toilet in the Hurn Bar.

Have you any jobs available?

There are generally two opportunities for working at Beverley; as part of our raceday staff team and for our caterers in the bars and eating outlets.

If you are interested in working for us on our raceday staff team, roles vary from assisting track side to selling tickets, contact Fiona Witty, our Operations Manager on 01482 867488.

If you’d be interested in joining our catering team to work on both racedays and at non-raceday events throughout the year, please contact CGC Event Caterers direct by emailing your CV to info@cgceventcaterers.co.uk If you’re reliable, hardworking and friendly, ideally with experience in food service and/or bars, they’d love to hear from you.
