The Racing Season Is Almost Here…
Now that spring is upon us, the days are getting warmer and the evenings are getting brighter. As the sun is starting to glaze over the Westwood each morning, it’s looking promising for a sunny summer at Beverley Racecourse.
The first few months of 2023 have gone by in a flash, which means that there’s not long left to wait until the start of our summer horse racing season! We’ve got a number of exciting events taking place throughout the season, starting with our Season Opener on the 19th April 2023.
Season Opener – 19th April 2023
Our Season Opener is fast approaching! Come down to the racecourse and join us for an afternoon jam packed with horse racing, food, drinks and, hopefully, good weather. With three admission enclosures, we have something to suit everyone – whether that be in the course enclosure, grandstand and paddock or the premier enclosure.
The gates open at 11:40 with the first race starting at 13:40, so there’s plenty of time to soak up the sun and indulge in a few drinks before the racing commences! The last race is scheduled for 17:10pm, after which you can head into Beverley’s town centre and enjoy the rest of your evening.
Tickets start from as little as £7 and don’t forget, under 18s are free of charge with an accompanying paying adult!

As well as these fan favourites, we’re also welcoming the Hull FC Family Funday Rugby League Takeover, where the Hull FC team will be joining us for a day of fun for the whole family! Not to mention the famous Ladies Day presented by Porsche Centre Hull – widely hailed as one of the best in the country.
