And We’re Off… What to Expect at Beverley Racecourse in 2026

2026 has begun, and excitement is already building on the Westwood. Beverley Racecourse is preparing for another unforgettable season of horse racing, packed with standout fixtures and brilliant hospitality. From April through September, Beverley Racecourse will once again deliver days that feel special from arrival to the final furlong.

A Fresh Season Begins

The gates open for the new season on Tuesday 15th April with our Season Opener. The first meeting of the year always feels special, with a crowd ready to welcome the season back. Afternoon Racing follows on 23rd April, keeping the early momentum going.

Family Days Made for Memories

Family Fun Racedays return and remain firm favourites in our racing calendar. Sunday 4th May welcomes families for a relaxed raceday where children can enjoy face painting in the Picnic Enclosure. Friendly farm animals will also join us, including calves, piglets, goats, and rabbits.

Another Family Fun Raceday arrives on 27th May, presented by Hull City Tigers Trust in the Community. Football fans can expect plenty of excitement, with possible appearances from Rory and Amber. There may even be a special trophy making an appearance.

Later in the summer, Family Fun Raceday returns on 28th July, adding even more reasons to plan a day out at Beverley Races.

Summer Horse Racing at Its Best

Summer at Beverley Racecourse is always amazing. Evening Racing takes place in June and July on 16th June, 3rd July, and 20th July. These fixtures suit relaxed social plans after work, with racing paired perfectly with food, drink, and long evenings. Summer Saturday fixtures on 4th July and 29th August bring packed crowds and a lively feel across the course.

Afternoon racing dates on 12th May, 23rd June, 14th July, 13th August, and 16th September offer a classic race day experience that works for all ages.

Ladies Day Returns in Style

Ladies Day, presented by Porsche Centre Hull, takes place on Wednesday 12th August. This much-loved fixture transforms Beverley Racecourse into a celebration of fashion alongside unforgettable racing. From statement outfits to stylish hats, the competition for Most Stylish Racegoer always draws attention.

Premier Admission tickets sell out quickly and have done so for four years running. Early booking is strongly advised.

Live Music After Racing in 2026

 

Live music adds extra excitement to a number of fixtures in 2026. On 30th May, Platinum Queen perform after racing on bet365 Very British Raceday with a full set of Queen favourites. Live music also follows racing on 3rd July. New for 2026, celebrity DJ sets arrive on 4th July and 29th August, with all performances included in admission tickets.

The Fastest Horses on the Westwood

The William Hill Beverley Bullet returns on Sunday 30th August, newly positioned for the bank holiday weekend. The fastest horses in the country charge down the famous five furlongs, with the action broadcast on ITV. Alongside the William Hill Silver Cup, this fixture promises some incredible drama.

A Fitting Farewell

The season draws to a close with afternoon racing on 22nd September for our Season Finale. It marks the end of another memorable year at Beverley Racecourse and gives racegoers a chance to enjoy a final afternoon on the Westwood before the season signs off.
