Join us for our Family Fun Raceday at Beverley Racecourse, featuring a competitive racecard, plenty of food & drink and you never know you might find a winner of two!

We are celebrating 25 years of the famous Gruffalo and the wonderful books by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. why not come and meet The Gruffalo at intervals throughout the afternoon. He will be available throughout the afternoon for meet and greet and photo opportunities in the Picnic Enclosure

We have something for everyone with three admission enclosures – Picnic, Grandstand & Paddock and Premier Enclosures.

Concessions (65+ & Student) are available in the G&P Enclosure and don’t forget under 18s are free of charge if accompanied by a paying adult!

Accessibility and Companion tickets are available in all Enclosures with an offer of the companion comes for free.

Attraction Restaurant

Beautifully appointed, The Attraction Restaurant enjoys excellent views of the racecourse and the historic Westwood from its position on the first floor of the Premier Enclosure, serving a Three course menu.

The Attraction Restaurant package offers a specially chosen menu, which is delicious and changes regularly – The all inclusive price takes care of a Premier Enclosure badge and a three course meal, racecard and exclusive access to the Attraction Restaurant balcony overlooking the racecourse. You retain your table for the entire day so it’s a perfect way to enjoy the racing Please be aware the restaurant is extremely popular, so make sure you book early.

Parking

Free parking is available outside the course on the Westwood, or if you’d like to bring your car into the Picnic Enclosure it’s from £7 and must be booked at the same times as your tickets ahead of the day. Visit our Plan Your Day page for full information.

Eating & Drinking

There’s a wealth of bars and eateries available on course for you to try out, from restaurants and champagne bars to BBQ caterers and real ale. Visit our Enclosures page to see what’s available where. In the Picnic Enclosure, alcohol is permitted, but only as part of a substantial picnic – we allow 4 cans of lager (or equivalent) or one bottle of wine per person as a guideline. We do not permit bottles of any neat spirits to be brought in.

Dress Code

You are welcome to wear what you like in the Picnic Enclosure and Grandstand & Paddock Enclosures, but in the Premier Enclosure we suggest you make the most of the opportunity to dress up (it is the races after all!) Tailored shorts and t-shirts are fine; we just ask your overall appearance is smart. Sports wear and fancy dress is not permitted, other than on themed racedays.

Betting

You can place bets with the Tote or on-course bookmakers, who can be found in all of our enclosures. There’s plenty of choice when betting, from straightforward win or each way bets to forecasts, placepots & more. Visit our Plan Your Day page for full information.

Raceday Programmes

Digital Race Programmes will be sent to all ticket holders. They tell you what horses are running on the day, who’s riding them, what colours they’ll be in and their recent form, as well as tips on how to bet, where to eat and drink & information on the course.

Dogs

Dogs are not allowed on a raceday for safety reasons, with the exception of guide and hearing dogs. Please don’t leave any dogs in your parked car – on a hot day the police will be called.
