Who doesn’t love dogs! Our doggy festival will look to showcase everything great about our furry friends, with a show arena full of entertainment across the afternoon.

Entertainment

Bridlington Fly ball demonstration team will be taking to the Course Enclosure arena showcasing the speed and agility of their speedy pooches

Tom Longton – Sheepdog Display – Tom hosts Sheepdog displays and demonstrations with sheep/geese/ducks all over the British Isles.  They are both informative and amusing, especially when the ducks are misbehaving. Children like to see the ducks especially.

Little Nippers Terrier Racing – In the arena they will race both over obstacles and at full speed chasing the electric lure. They offer a fast, action-packed demonstration with an informative and humorous commentary by Phil.

Guide Dogs Hull and East Yorkshire – We are delighted to be supporting the local branch of Guide dogs for the blind who will be here showcasing the amazing work they do across the county.

** Please note due to regulations on a raceday, you will not be able to bring your own dog to the racecourse.

The Famous Beverley Ladies Day presented by Porsche Centre Hull, widely hailed as one of the best in the country is back for 2023.

Ladies it’s time to dress to impress as the great and good of Yorkshire descend on the Westwood.

Heading to Beverley Racecourse for Ladies Day, are you the most stylish Female or Male?

Head to the Style Awards marquee in the centre of the course to enter and one lucky lady and one lucky male will scoop some fabulous prizes:

Hummingbirds UK will be roaming around the Premier, G&p and Course Enclosures signing and entertaining with their vintage 1940s style songs.

Yorkshire OOmpaah Band will be entertaining customers on arrival and throughout the afternoon. The perfect excuse to have a boogie on the Terrace or a good sing song outside Touch Above

We are delighted to announce the carnival vibes and traditional tunes from the Paradise Steel Band will be performing throughout the afternoon. Nothing better than enjoying a summery, fruity Cocktail with the traditional sounds of a Steel Band.

We have something for everyone with three admission enclosures – Course, Grandstand & Paddock and Premier Enclosures. Concessions are available in the G&P Enclosure and don’t forget under 18s are FREE of charge if accompanied by a paying adult!

ANNOUNCEMENT Family Funday – 1st May

Course Enclosure Car Park tickets are now SOLD OUT. We’ll be operating a FREE overflow Car Park as on map.

All entertainment will be located in the Course Enclosure – How about getting your face painted with your favourite sporting team or maybe your favourite TV character! – Thanks to the team at  We Face Painting 4 You Hull

Come and meet our friendly Farm Animals – Calves, sheep, goats, piglets, chicks, ducklings and fluffy rabbits are heading to the races for a fun filled day out, apparently they love a selfie! Thanks to the team at Purple Pig Company

Local Yorkshire Funfair – Gallagher’s Funfair will be bringing a selection of rides and stalls for the young and older kids – Rides are FREE however stalls will require a small cost to enjoy

Nothing quite like the sounds of a traditional Yorkshire Brass Band – Our resident and local Beverley Brass Band will be pumping the tunes out on the top of the Touch Above Bar.

Make sure you get a selfie with the fun loving Sheridan the Sheepdog. He will be delighted to stop for a chat and a photo and I am sure he will give you a nice big welcome to the Racecourse.
