Season Opener – Easter

Welcome back to Beverley Racecourse for the Season Opener – Easter 2025

Horse Racing is back at Beverley Racecourse. Let’s hope for an amazing season on the Westwood.

Join us for our first afternoon of racing, try some food & drink and you never know you might find a winner or two!

Celebrate with the kids this Easter. All under 18s are FREE if accompanied by a paying adult

Entertainment

As well as the competitive racing we will be holding a Peter Rabbit Easter Trail around the Racecourse. Simply follow the clues (5 in total) to the characters around the Racecourse. All roads lead to a sweet treat!

The first clue is at the Hurn Bar in the Picnic Enclosure

There will also be free face painting for all the kids over in the Picnic Enclosure. How about getting your face painted with your favourite sporting team or maybe your favourite Film/ TV character! Thanks to the team at  We Face Painting 4 You Hull

We have something for everyone with three admission enclosures – Picnic, Grandstand & Paddock and Premier Enclosures.

Concessions (65+ & Student) are available in the G&P Enclosure and don’t forget under 18s are free of charge if accompanied by a paying adult!

Accessibility and Companion tickets are available in all Enclosures with an offer of the companion comes for free.

Bet 365 Very British Raceday

It’s our first Saturday raceday of 2024 – Our popular Bet 365 Very British Raceday is back!

Join us for a Saturday afternoon racing at Beverley Racecourse, featuring a 7 racecard, plenty of food & drink and you never know you might find a winner of two!

On the track the action is electric with two key Royal Ascot trials as the the feature races with the bet 365 Two-Year-Old Trophy and the Hilary Needler Stakes. In 2023 it was Bombay Bazaar and Midnight Affair who landed the spoils.

Join by the Parade Ring at 12:45 for a ‘Through The Card’ preview with our raceday presenter, Andrew Thornton. Andrew will run through the 7 races on the card, including the two feature races, before giving his best bets for the afternoon. Don’t forget to bring a racecard and a pen!

Entertainment

Delighted to announce a double-act of tribute acts on the Premier Terrace after racing.

PULP’D and BLUR 2 will be performing LIVE after racing with the likes of “Common” “Disco 2000” “Parklife” “Common People”

Bet 365 Very British Raceday

Join us for Saturday afternoon racing at Beverley Racecourse, featuring a 7 racecard, plenty of food & drink and you never know you might find a winner of two!

We are delighted to celebrate the 60th year of the Hilary Needler Trophy, a race that means so much to the Racecourse, it’s one of the the oldest private sponsorships in horseracing, first run in 1965! It has thrown up some fabulous racehorses – Attraction, Easton Angel, Liberty Beach and Star Of Lady M who have gone on to be stars!

On the track the action is electric with two key Royal Ascot trials as the the feature races with the bet 365 Two-Year-Old Trophy and the Hilary Needler Trophy. In 2024 it was Shareholder and Perfect Part who landed the spoils.

The great wait is over. Come see Oasis 96, the ultimate Oasis Tribute band (and employ a strict pre-96 only setlist door policy).

Featuring the brilliant vocals of Miguel Carling as ‘Liam’. Oasis 96 is a tribute band that brings the unforgettable sound and vibe of Oasis right to you.

LIVE music will be for 60-90 minutes after the last race

How to enter

Our judges Hits Radio Breakfast show hosts Alex & Nicola will be roaming the three Enclosures. 5 finalists will be shortlisted for the grand finale, given a finalist rosette and will be invited to the Grand Finale from 3pm onwards. The judges panel will make a final decision. Dress to impress
