It’s our first Summer Saturday raceday of 2026!
Join us for Saturday afternoon racing at Beverley Racecourse, featuring a 7 racecard, plenty of food & drink and you never know you might find a winner of two!
We are delighted to celebrate the second running of the (Listed) Charlie Wood Stakes, run over 1mile and 4 furlongs. The inaugural winner was Candleford, owned by Barnane Stud, ridden by Cieren Fallon and trained by Yorkshireman William Haggas.
Charlie Wood was an English flat jockey born in the Hull Slums. He won his first ever race in 1872 and was Champion jockey in 1887.

Ticket information
We have something for everyone with three admission enclosures – Picnic, Grandstand & Paddock and Premier Enclosures.
Concessions (65+ & Student) are available in the G&P Enclosure.
PLEASE NOTE: Children 5-17 years old will require an Admission ticket in the Premier Enclosure. Under 18s remain free of charge and must be accompanied by a paying adult in the Grandstand & Paddock and Picnic Enclosure.
Accessibility and Companion tickets are available in all Enclosures with an offer of the companion comes for free.
