July is here, and that means one thing at Beverley Racecourse. The biggest and most action-packed month of the year is officially upon us. Evening Racing ft. DJ Simon Hudson – Friday 3rd July

July gets off to a flying start with our Evening Racing fixture on Friday 3rd July, making it the perfect way to kick off your weekend. After the final race, local DJ Simon Hudson takes over the Premier Terrace for 60 to 90 minutes of feel-good party tracks. Your admission ticket includes access to the entertainment, so all you need to do is show up and enjoy yourself.

Summer Saturday ft. Chris Moyles – Saturday 4th July

One day after the evening opener, we go again with our first Summer Saturday raceday of 2026. This is a big one. A seven-race card gets underway, headlined by the second running of the Listed Charlie Wood Stakes over a mile and four furlongs. Named after Hull-born jockey Charlie Wood, who rose from the city’s slums to become Champion Jockey in 1887, this race carries real local significance. The inaugural winner was Candleford, trained by Yorkshireman William Haggas and ridden by Cieren Fallon.

After racing, Radio X Breakfast Show host Chris Moyles steps behind the decks for a DJ set packed with retro 90s floor fillers. The set is included in all admission and hospitality tickets, so there is no excuse to miss this one.

Afternoon Racing – Tuesday 14th July

Our Afternoon Racing fixture on 14th July is a brilliant midweek day out for anyone who loves competitive horse racing in a relaxed setting. Great racing, great food, and great company.

Sky Bet Go Racing in Yorkshire Summer Festival – Monday 20th July

This is one of the most celebrated Beverley racedays of the entire year. Our Evening Racing fixture on 20th July forms part of the prestigious Sky Bet Go Racing in Yorkshire Summer Festival, a county-wide celebration of the best racecourses in Yorkshire. Seven races light up the Westwood. Before racing begins, the famous Paddock and Chips jockey penalty shoot-out takes place, a seriously entertaining warm-up that always draws a crowd.

Family Fun Raceday – Tuesday 28th July

We are rounding off the month with one of our most beloved family racedays of the year. Full entertainment details will be announced in due course, but if our previous Family Fun Racedays are anything to go by, the Picnic Enclosure is going to be buzzing. Under-18s go free with a paying adult, and the Picnic Enclosure gates open early so you can make a full day of it.
